We have made some nice progress. The fence is nearly complete and the strawberries and garlic are planted. This picture shows the new fence.

The beds in the background are the two 25′ of strawberries. Adrian harvested the transplants while thinning plants from my small garden. Thinning strawberries every year seems so brutal. You cut them way back with shears and then pull up 4 out of 5 plants. But the remaining plants love the room and the patch always produces larger berries.
Drip lines run down each row in pairs. I hope 2 lines will cover the width of the beds with enough water. I like keeping the paths between beds dry if possible. This keeps weeds down. Still need to put down mulch.
Also shown here are two unplanted beds which will have asparagus and blackberries next spring. This zone in the garden will be filled in time with perennial veggies and berries.
