The Spendor of Repetition

A simple okra bud shows Nature’s repetition. The buds spiral in space and time. Lower flowers have become fruit while others await their moment. This stalk will grow another 2 feet, spiraling its way into the future.

As a gardener, I cannot help but be attracted by the abundance. This okra needs daily picking and our 50 foot row gives up about 1/3 basket. We also have two rows of fall crop okra which is about 4 feet tall and just beginning to bloom.

The red wasps sip nectar during the day. Bumble bees work the flowers. Thankfully nether mind my picking.
